Don't blow extra coin on retail cables. If you can wait a few days for shipping, buy them online. They work great.

A cable's a cable right? Apparently not. I thought there was something wrong with my hdtv or camera at first because HD video shot on my camera looks pretty rough around the edges when using this cable. The main problem is that there is a ring of white around the edges of my video. It is very noticeable in the corners. I can't remember what this is called, "white bleed" or something along those lines. It was so cheap that I will just live with it but this would be completely unacceptable to use as a primary cable for hooking up a dvd player to tv or gaming console to tv, etc. unless you are cool with a white halo around whatever it is you are watching.

This cable is of high quality. It is comparable to the more expensive cables on the market though some people are convinced because you pay more you get more. I think in the case of this cable it is not the case. I would by this cable.
