They call this a booster, but it does not improve your signal, in fact it makes it worse. Without this item in place I am able to get 1080, but with it in place the projector will not get 1080.
Waste of money.

I have a 35ft hdmi cable for a projector and need to extend an extra 6ft through a wall. I bought a basic "thru wall" female to female adapter and wall plate and it would not pass the signal. I put this in place of the wall plate and the signal is strong enough.
