Good but not fantastic September 5, 2008 S. O'Donnell 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this antenna because I got a DTV converter box and my 15 year old rabbit ears weren't picking up a strong enough signal for digital TV. This amplified antenna does pick up a much stronger signal than my old rabbit ears. I like that there are many different adjustments you can make to it in order to fine tune reception (adjust the antenna, adjust the knobs, etc.).
However, this antenna did not come with instructions. Figuring out how to connect it was easy enough but it would have been nice to have some instructions as far as tips for getting the best reception. It took a lot of fiddling around to find the right adjustments. Also, I found out that although this antenna does give me stronger reception than traditional rabbit ears, I still need a stronger antenna (most likely an outdoor antenna) in order to watch digital TV.

I am enjoying great reception with an analog black and white tv and a digital converter box. I get 24 channels now in my kitchen. The reception couldn't be better.
cheap alternative for free OTA HDTV signals January 7, 2008 Garf (Bay area, CA) inexpensive indoor antenna that works ok overall. surprisingly, hooked it up to an HDTV randomly and am able to get about 20 crystal clear channels, 5 in HD, 6 in digital. sure beats paying over $100/month for HDTV cable if you don't watch much tv. (HD reception will depend on location, building set up, etc. of course)
don't waste your money September 23, 2007 E. Hsu (Louisiana) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This antenna will pick up the signals but so does my broken antenna. The quality is not good and you have to set a different position for every channel. If you want to watch more than one channel, don't get this. It will drive you nuts.

Don't waste your time or money with this. As everyone else has already stated, you get better signal with old rabbit ears.
