quality antenna - wrong balun, deduct one star June 23, 2010 Dana Humfleet (delaware, ohio) The antenna seems well built and works great. Compact and light.
I needed a rotor in the pre-digital days. Don't need one with this antenna, even with it mounted lower than my old one. I am about 20-25 miles out, but located in a bit of a valley. The Antenna is connected to a small amplifier that feeds a distribution system that goes to every room in the house. Impressive reception - never any dropouts or "scramble."
Would be five stars if the balun mounted as shown in the manual. It's quality, but the wires were too short to mount as intended. Not a deal breaker. I would buy it again.
antenna not so great June 20, 2010 Discover (Warsaw IL) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
Wasted my money, would not pull in hardly any programs. I had to turn around and by a bigger one.
have not used it yet June 4, 2010 Donna E. Hahnan (ny usa) 0 out of 7 found this review helpful

So-so antenna June 2, 2010 N. Zhu (San Francisco bay area, CA) I bought this antenna after I read its reviews. All reviewers gave five or four stars. But I don't see any particular good qualilty in this antenna. I live about 20 mile away from San Francisco. I put it on the roof top. What I got are the strong channels. Like channel 2(Fox),4,5(CBS),7(ABC),9(PBS) and 11(NBC). Rest channels are sometimes good. Sometimes bad. Even the strong channels are not very stable in bad weather.
very good antenna May 10, 2010 bayareay1111 (san francisco) I was previously using a winegard indoor amplified antennna. the antenna worked okay, but i was constantly moving the antenna around. I purchased this antenna and it worked great. I get all the channels i wanted except for 1 pbs channel that i would have to adjust my antenna in such a way that I would lose receiving other channels. One person made a comment that all you need to do is point this antenna to the furthest station and you will receive the others. This is not true. I am about 5 miles away from about 40 of the stations i pick up and am 35 miles away from about 2 i need to pick up. I pointed my antenna to the furthest station and stopped receiving the stations that were close. I had to point my antenna in a midrange fashion in order to receive the majority of the channels i wanted. I am receiving every single major network and then some but am missing 1 pbs channel that i really wanted. overall, not bad. I am about receiving 51 channels total in the san francisco area.
