Averge performance July 5, 2010 George S. Thomas (Virginia) While the specifications for this antenna indicated it received channels that included 2-13, it does not receive channels 4 or 5. Channels 7 and above have very good reception. So once again a misrepresented product. Now that it is installed I'm not going to take it down and return it, that's what they are probably counting on. Now if you do not need to receive any channels below 7 and are within 40 miles or so of the tranmitters this will be a economical choice.
Great Antenna for price March 15, 2010 M. Perez (Sacramento CA) No complaints about the antenna. Small enough to fit in attic. Big enough to point and and mess with but still get all your stations.
Only problem (but this may be with all antennas) is that any motor interferes with HD broadcasts. Examples: toys with motor, cd player from computer (not inside case), etc.
terrible instructions January 24, 2010 Jake Stayman (San Francisco, CA) 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
The included instructions are nearly impossible to follow. They are written in poor English. There is no parts list. Several of the steps refer to parts that are not included with this antenna, or are otherwise impossible to complete. The pictures are very difficult to comprehend.
Luckily, the antenna can be assembled without following the instructions, since most of it is pretty obvious. But the instructions were so completely wrong or incomprehensible that they left me confused and frustrated nonetheless. It would almost be better if they had not included them at all. But really, they should just hire a decent technical writer to fix this problem.
Does the job September 23, 2009 old timer (Radcliff, KY United States) Took the free shipping and it came in a few days. It cost half of what the local stores wanted for a comparable antenna. Put it up on my outside mast and it works fine. I am 35 miles from the stations, so I had to point it in the right direction. The local stations are broadcasting in both VHF and UHF frequencies and my old $30 antenna couldn't pick up both. Now I get all available stations with a good, stable picture. Meter reads from 60 to 95, according to location as they are all not in exactly the same place. All signals are strong enough I don't need a rotor. I would recommend this product.
Channel Master #3016 July 6, 2009 Donald L. Crittendon (St Joseph, Mo.) The antenna worked just as I had expected. I installed it in my attic for the digital TV conversion in conjunction with a converter box. I can recieve 22 digital channels which exceeded my expectations.
